Dr. Tobias Weigel currently leads the Helmholtz AI Consultant team at DKRZ. In previous positions, he has worked for more than 10 years across multiple international projects in the areas of e-Science infrastructures, research data management, and data analysis for Earth System sciences. As part of these activities, he has been involved for many years with the Research Data Alliance (RDA), creating collaborative community standards for identifier and metadata management, serving on the RDA Technical Advisory Board, contributing to EUDAT and EOSC services and services for management and analysis of CMIP6 output. He is an editorial board member of the CODATA Data Science Journal.
