Biography
Rika Kobayashi is a computational chemist at the Australian National University's NCI Supercomputer Facility. Her specialty is in electronic structure theory having been awarded a PhD from the University of Cambridge, under the supervision of Professor N. C. Handy, for her thesis on "Analytic Gradients for Correlated methods". She has contributed to many computational chemistry software packages and can advise on both their science and HPC aspects. She carries out research and training in her spare time and is currently interested in Machine Learning in computational chemistry and materials science.
