Mr. Chi-Chiu CHEUNG graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a B.Sc. in Physics and an M.Phil. in Computer Science and Engineering. He has worked with ClusterTech Limited, Hong Kong SAR for 20+ years. His works were mainly on applications of High Performance Computing (HPC). In recent years, his team worked on an atmospheric model based on the MPAS and some other models, with the addition of two innovative techniques Hierarchical Time-Stepping and Customizable Unstructured Mesh Generation. The resulting model CPAS is implemented in a HPC cloud-computing platform https://cpas.earth/.
