Biography
Carlo Janna graduated in Civil Engineering at the University of Padova in October 2nd, 2003 and in the same University he got his PhD defending a thesis entitled "Numerical modeling of the mechanical behavior of regional faults in the geological sequestration of anthropogenic CO2 sequestration". In December 2011 he became assistant professor at the Department ICEA and since June 2020 he is associate professor in the same Department. The main scientific interests concern the mathematical modelling and numerical simulation of various mechanical and fluid dynamic processes in industrial applications and the related numerical linear algebra problems on high performance computers. Carlo Janna is author or co-author of more than 120 scientific papers in international refereed journals, books and conference proceedings.
